Position Summary

GPMPS, Inc. is seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, test, and maintain electronic equipment, systems, and components. The successful candidate will utilize technical manuals, schematics, test equipment, and diagnostic tools to ensure equipment remains fully operational and meets established performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, assemblies, wiring, and components.
• Use test equipment including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic instruments.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Repair or replace defective components, circuit boards, connectors, wiring, and assemblies.
• Perform preventive maintenance and functional testing on electronic equipment.
• Conduct system checks and operational testing to verify repairs and performance.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and repair documentation.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree, vocational training, or technical certification in Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Experience using electronic test and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, communications, or maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with digital and analog electronic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting power supplies, control systems, sensors, communications equipment, or electronic control modules.
• Knowledge of soldering, circuit board repair, and component-level troubleshooting.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
