Position Summary

GPMPS, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure maintenance, logistics, and operational activities are performed in accordance with established quality standards, technical requirements, and company procedures. The successful candidate will conduct inspections, identify deficiencies, document findings, and support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest levels of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of equipment, materials, maintenance activities, and completed work.
  • Verify compliance with technical manuals, work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of equipment and materials.
  • Identify deficiencies, discrepancies, and non-conforming conditions and document findings.
  • Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and corrective action documentation.
  • Monitor maintenance and operational processes to ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Assist with internal audits, process evaluations, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and managers to resolve quality issues.
  • Track corrective actions and verify completion of required improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Minimum three years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, maintenance, logistics, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience performing inspections in maintenance, transportation, logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and quality assurance principles.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
  • Experience conducting audits and corrective action tracking.
  • Technical background in mechanical, electrical, logistics, or maintenance operations.
