We are looking for a Software Tester to join TRiBECA® Knowledge, a London (UK) based company delivering software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to the pharmaceutical industry across Europe and the US.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining test plans, designing and automating test cases, constructing test scenarios and scripts, and executing tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS platforms. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Software Developers, Product Managers, and UX/UI Designers to validate product functionality and report test results clearly and accurately.
The position is based with our partner DevTeam in Bucharest.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities Test Planning & Design (30%)- Definition of test plans aligned with product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Definition of test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and edge-case scenarios.
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts to support structured, repeatable, and traceable testing activities.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across new features and existing functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback across the development lifecycle.
- Build and expand regression test suites to protect product stability across releases.
- Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce reliance on manual testing over time.
- Coordination and execution of tests across sprint cycles and release milestones.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to validate fixes, improvements, and new features.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution using Jira.
- Collaborate closely with the UX/UI Designer to review designs for testability, flag usability issues early, and validate that implemented interfaces match design specifications.
- Reporting of test results, including defect tracking, test coverage metrics, and overall quality status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date test documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes, standards, and best practices.
- Apply security-by-design and privacy-by-design principles throughout testing activities.
- Contribute to quality and compliance practices aligned with ISO 27001.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of IT professional experience.
- Minimum 1 year of IS testing experience.
- Proven knowledge of testing technologies and tools.
- Hands-on experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and integrating automated tests into build pipelines.
- Capability to integrate in an international/multi-cultural environment, with rapid self-starting capability and experience working in a team.
- Good communication skills and strong aptitude for reporting.
- Ability to adapt to fast-changing technologies used in application development.
